Mission & Impact
The Trussell Trust supports a network of over 1,200 food bank centres, providing emergency parcels to people in crisis. In the past year, they delivered more than 2.1 million three-day food supplies across the UK.

How Your Funds Will Be Used

  • £800 will cover around 160 emergency food parcels (at approximately £5 each).
  • Parcels include essentials like pasta, rice, canned goods, cereals, and milk.
  • Extra services—budgeting advice, cooking tips, and referrals to long-term support—are provided alongside.

Why It Matters
Food insecurity remains a growing challenge. By backing The Trussell Trust, you ensure families and individuals facing hardship get the nourishment they need right away.

Mission & Impact
Shelter fights homelessness and housing injustice throughout England and Scotland. Last year, they supported over 123,000 people—offering advice, legal aid, and temporary accommodation referrals.

How Your Funds Will Be Used

  • £400 will underwrite roughly 8 hours of specialist housing advice and legal support.
  • That includes intervention to prevent eviction, negotiating with landlords or councils, and securing safer living conditions.
  • These hours also help keep Shelter’s helpline running, so anyone can call for free, confidential guidance.

Why It Matters
A stable home underpins wellbeing, education, and employment. Your donation helps keep vulnerable families sheltered and safe, avoiding the trauma of losing their home.

Mission & Impact
The British Red Cross delivers emergency response, first-aid training, and refugee support at home and abroad. During recent flooding incidents, they provided shelter, warm meals, and psychosocial care to displaced communities.

How Your Funds Will Be Used

  • £400 will fund one 12-hour emergency response team deployment in a crisis zone.
  • Volunteers distribute blankets, hot drinks, and emergency supplies, and offer emotional support to survivors.
  • Additional training workshops on resilience and safety may also be run in affected areas.

Why It Matters
When disasters strike, speed and expertise save lives. Your support arms dedicated volunteers with the tools they need to respond effectively and compassionately.
