Hi, I’m Ken Baldwin, the creator of YourFreeClassifiedAds.com.
This project was born from a simple idea — to create a free online marketplace that not only helps people buy and sell, but also gives back to the community in a meaningful way. With so many local charities and grassroots groups doing incredible work under tough conditions, I wanted to build a platform that offers real, regular support — where each month, one or more charities receive a donation funded by the activity happening right here on the site.
It’s not just about a one-time gift — it’s about creating a system that continually supports those who support others.
I’m passionate about making this vision a reality, but I can’t do it alone. With your help, we can grow this site into something truly impactful—a place where every listing and every visit makes a difference.
As the site continues to grow and reach more communities across the UK, we’re planning to give even more –

What inspired me to help others –
“It All Started with a Train and a Pocketful of Change…”
When I served in the forces in the 1980s, the typical weekend routine was the same: kit packed, car shares sorted, and everyone heading off across the UK for a well-earned break.
On this particular Friday, I was travelling from Bulford to Hull with another squaddie—Johno (Mark, if you ever read this, you know who you are), who was heading to Leeds. We caught a shared car lift to Barnsley train station and ran to catch the train. As we were sprinting, Johno suddenly stopped…..?
